The Commonwealth of Israel New Testament
The Commonwealth of Israel New Testament With Study Notes is the timely precursor to the COI Reference Bible. The fast-paced Commonwealth Theology (CT) Movement has anticipated this systematic theological guide, which includes commentary, cross-references, and lexical notes to apply Commonwealth Theology on a key-passage/key-verse basis. The commentary is diverse and well-rounded, presenting the latest developments in CT and enabling peer review of scriptural interpretation.
The English translation of the Greek source texts is based on the King James Version. The KJV was selected for three primary reasons; the text is available in the public domain, the KJV is relied upon by a large populous of English-speaking Christians for authority and Bible memorization, and the KJV was translated honoring the tradition of the Greek Septuagint—maintaining the Name, “LORD,” throughout the Old and New Testaments, thus amplifying the declarations of the NT that “Jesus is Lord.”
The translation of the KJV presented in the COI New Testament has been updated to modern English; and, as is the case with contemporary English versions, the literal translation of many Greek words have been refined to agree with a consensus of post-KJV scholarship. In addition, the translation of key words in understanding Commonwealth Theology, such as “Ekklesia” and “Ethnos,” have been given special attention.
All proceeds from the sale of The Commonwealth of Israel New Testament go directly to the Commonwealth of Israel Foundation, a non-profit charitable religious organization for the development and promotion of Commonwealth Theology.

Donate In 2018 the Commonwealth of Israel Foundation was created for the advancement of Commonwealth Theology (CT). One of the Foundation’s primary goals is the production of a Commonwealth of Israel Reference Bible (estimated release 2022-2023). In addition to the traditional elements of Christian theology—Soteriology, Christology, Hamartiology, etc.—the study Bible will expound on the elements of Israelology, Ecclesiology, and Anthropology that fall within the context of Commonwealth Theology.
The COI Reference Bible will not neglect the Gospel of Messianic Salvation and will uphold the doctrines declared by the Apostle’s Creed. In light of this traditional theological basis, commentary is included on the foundational aspects of the faith as well as observations supporting CT. In order to produce an objective educational resource, examples of views contrary to CT will also be included in the commentary; thus, engaging those who might not yet be in agreement with CT. Therefore, contributors include; Traditional Jews, Messianics, Dispensationalists, and those holding other mainline Christian theologies. The Foundation’s Bible committee is also documenting Bible cross-references specific to CT, which have been overlooked by “pre-CT” Bibles.
